Fray Day Grand Rapids Cancelled The event is cancelled due to issues with the space and lack of time and resources.
New Venue We have a new venue: 14 Weston (behind the UICA)
Featured Storyteller: Paul Moore Paul Moore is a freelance filmmaker and writer who lives and works in Grand Rapids. He has been married to Kristen and they are expecting their first child in the spring. This is Paul's second year at Fray Day Grand Rapids.
Featured Storyteller: George Mossel I just got an e-mail indicating that the Rev. George Mossel will be performing at Fray Day Grand Rapids. George Mossel started teaching at Hillside Community Church (then Cuttlerville Hills, CRC) in 1986 after serving at a mission church near Hesperia Michigan for six years. He was my pastor growing up. George always offered a special treat for his parishioners at the Thanksgiving Day service every year. He would spin a tale based on his experiences growing up in South Holland, IL. The story would take the place of the usual sermon. George is bringing his special storytelling ability to Fray Day Grand Rapids for the first time this year!
Featured Storyteller: Yvonne Healy This morning I got a confirmation that Yvonne Heally, 2004 storyteller of the year, will be joing us for Fray Day Grand Rapids. Using simply voice, gesture and story, Yvonne invites you into the theater of your own imagination. Raised in the Irish oral tradition she grew up to act on New York’s stage and screen.
