Fray Day is coming back to San Francisco for its 7th annual event in an all new venue! Join us on Saturday, November 13 at The Swedish American Hall: 2174 Market Street, above Cafe Du Nord, in the lovely Freja Hall.

Fray Day 8 hits Tucson like a summer monsoon storm this November.

Yep, we're doing it again! Fray Day 8 will be coming to sunny Tucson, AZ (hopefully not too sunny in November). We have a venue lined up at Hotel Congress on Saturday, Nov. 6th.

Fray Day 8 Central Florida: Back to the Sunshine State.

Fray Day will return to Central Florida this fall, where something named Charley has left a lot of people with stories to tell.

We'll gather on Wednesday, Oct. 6, at 7 p.m., on the campus of Stetson University in Stover Theatre -- just like last year. Stetson is in DeLand, halfway between Orlando and Daytona Beach off of I-4, and not far away at all from Gainesville, Tampa, St. Augustine, Jacksonville, and other places.

What is Fray Day?
Fray Day is an evening of true stories told by real people in real time. Events take place all over the world and are all a little different, but each event features a few featured performers and a storytelling open mic, where anyone can sign up to tell a true, personal story in 5 minutes or less. Some events also include music, poetry, and interactive art.

Who's behind this?
Fray was started 8 years ago by Derek Powazek, who still heads up the San Francisco event. Other events are created by volunteer organizers with a love of true stories. Together we make up the motley crew known as the Fray Organization, and we're currently in the process of become a 501c3 nonprofit.

Fray Day LA is booked! This year's rockin' event will be Saturday, October 23 from 8pm to Midnight at The Coffee Fix in Studio City: 12508 Moorpark Street across from the Studio City Library {map}. We are asking a for a $4 minimum purchase, but no one will be keeping tabs. Look for more postings coming soon.... See you there.

Fray Day, our annual celebration of true personal storytelling, is coming! This will be our 8th year, and we can't wait.

We're doing things a little differently this year. Instead of picking a date and trying to get all our worldwide events to synch up, we're freeing up the events to happen anytime over the next few months.

We've got a bunch of people working in many cities right now. Stay tuned for event location announcements. And if you're interested in bringing Fray Day to your town, get in touch!
