We did it. We had an awesome time! Not a lot of people came, but the stories were beautiful. It was the best Fray Day ever for that reason.

Margaret teaches english and literature at Kendall College of Art and Design. She has survived the death of a spouse, the raising of five children, and two open-heart surgeries. She has written five books on stepfamilies including, Devotions for Blended Families and Daily Reflections for Stepparents. She enjoys working in her garden, spending time with her grandchildren and driving her new Volkswagen Beetle.

Rick works as a painter and musician. His paintings have been shown in Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles. He and his wife Brenda are raising their five children in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This is his second year at Fray Day.

Paul Moore is a freelance filmmaker and writer who lives and works in Grand Rapids. He has been married to Kristen for almost two years. They are about to buy their first house.

This is Aaron’s third year at Fray Day and his first year of hosting. He is a writer and filmmaker. He has been married to Rebecca for almost two years.

Bonnie Jo Campbell has authored two books, Women and Other Animals (a collection of short stories) and Q Road (a novel). She has earned numerous awards and accolades for her work. She has hitchhiked across the U.S. and Canada, scaled the Swiss Alps on her bicycle, and traveled with the Ringling Bros and Barnum and Bailey Circus selling snow cones. As president of Goulash Tours Inc., she has organized and led adventure tours in Russia and the Baltics, and all the way south to Romania and Bulgaria. She lives with her husband and other animals outside Kalamazoo, MI. In her spare time, she created her a microbrew to go with her novel. It’s called Q Brew.

At last we have confirmed a location! We will be hosting fray day 7, Grand Rapids at StudioX. Many thanks to photographer and friend, Chris Dumond for letting us use his awesome space!
