BBC's Video Nation One of my favorite things from last weekend's storytelling conference in Wales was the BBC's Video Nation project, which sent video cameras out to ordinary people and asked them to record video diaries. The participants then mailed the tapes back to the BBC, where they were edited into shorts for television. The results include some breathtaking glimpses into real people's lives. The Video Nation shorts are no longer airing on BBC, but are still being produced for the web. Take a look. |
