Writing the skin Author and provocateur Shelley Jackson has written a new 2,301-word short story called "Skin," and she's publishing it one word at a time, one person at a time. Instead of printing the story, she's tatooing it on volunteers all over the world. Each person gets one word, and, according to Newsweek, she's only 64 words in. Think you've got what it takes? The site says: "Prospective participants should contact the author (shelley@drizzle.com) and explain their interest in the work." Here's hoping you get a word you like. |
