I'm grateful for a certain short-haired cutie-pie who after two years of dating refuses to let me call her "my girlfriend", but instead allows me to call myself "her bitch."

And yes, she even has a toothbrush in my bathroom.

I'm thankful that I met my exgirlfriend, who taught me that not only could I be a boyfriend properly, but that I could live alone and without her, too.

I'm thankful that Sarah forgave me, after my intellectual dishonesty, of a sort.

I'm thankful that I love to learn new things.

I'm thankful that Mr. Powaczek does this thing called Fray.

I'm thankful for all these things, too.

I just finished cleaning the kitchen in my Stanford Co-op after a vegetarian dinner of stuffing, sweet potato pie, and the usual stuff. To top it off was a vegan turkey made from wheat protein and some other assorted soy products. We had an amazing time here among friends, and I'm thankful that we were able to spend time together as if we were a family and not a group of students.

I suppose that I have more to be thankful for than I can write about: my health, my education, all of the people I know who inspire me or just make me laugh. Even the weather feels a little more normal now, with rains for the crops and sunlight for the soul. Even with schoolwork looming, I'm thankful that I can be thankful.

Aside from this list, I'm also thankful for the wonderful high school friends that I'm still in touch with after ten years, and that Nebraska beat Colorado (barely) today!
